Vessels in Regeneration
Symbiotic Bloom captures the organic growth patterns of mycelium and translates them into a vessel that embodies life, time, and regeneration.
The work interprets the moment when mycelium spreads and forms its own structure as a quiet form of blooming, where nature and
human intention reconnect through cycles of renewal. Crafted from MYCEL’s CELMURE mycelium sheets through layering, shaping, and
natural drying, the vessel preserves the subtle textures and rhythms generated during the organism’s growth.
“A Vessel Shaped by Biological Growth”
Q. What is the concept behind Symbiotic Bloom?
The work captures the organic growth patterns of mycelium and transforms them into a vessel form. The moment when mycelium spreads
and builds its own structure is interpreted as a quiet form of blooming. Through this process, the project reflects the point where nature
and human intention reconnect through cycles of renewal.

Material and Process
Q. How was the vessel created?
The vessel is crafted from MYCEL’s CELMURE mycelium sheets, using processes of layering, shaping, and natural drying. Through this approach, the piece preserves the subtle textures and rhythms generated during the organism’s growth.
Form Emerging from Growth
Q. How is the form of the vessel developed?
Rather than shaping the material into a predetermined form, the vessel’s silhouette emerges from the natural growth patterns of mycelium.
